Hi
I realized that in the Microarchitecture exploration section, the summary mode (Counting Mode) doesn't support CPU mask... Is there a method to profile or show the summary for a specific CPU core or cores? This will be really helpful as I don't want to see the summary of all my CPU cores....
The "CPU mask" option only works in detailed Mode (sampling mode)......
The functionality that I want resembles the "perf stat -C 7"
Thank you~
Jerry

Hi,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
I hope you are doing well.
Yes, in the detailed mode under the bottom-up tab, we can view masked CPU cores as shown in the below picture.
But in the summary mode, we will get only the overall summary of the analysis (This is expected behavior)
If you compare results with and without masks for the summary - with mask the numbers should be a little low. But in summary mode, the per-core details cant be made available.
Thanks,
Jaideep
