Hi,

May I know what is the difference between using intel Stratix 10 FPGA card and using intel Stratix 10 FPGA  with intel PAC in terms of speed of computation.

Thank you.

Hi,

Intel PAC with Stratix 10 device will have more features supported on the board side compare to the Stratix 10 FPGA card. The speed on the FPGA will be similar.

If you look into https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/products/boards_and_kits/dev-kits/altera/intel-fpga-pac-d5005/overview.html, Intel PAC will have BMC supported.

Thanks a lot for the rely.

Will BMC in the PAC card boost the overall speed compared to a standalone FPGA card?

Hi,

The BMC is used for Root of Trust to protect your cloud server from hacking and also use to monitor the board power and temperature.
