The world needs a systems foundry for the AI era.

Artificial intelligence and compute-intensive applications demand greater performance than can be delivered by the advancement of semiconductor manufacturing alone. New approaches are called for to address rising power consumption, satisfy data throughput requirements, and minimize operating expenses. Foundries must optimize at the system level, from silicon to software and at every layer in between.

Intel’s SVP and GM for Foundry Services, Kevin O’Buckley, recently presented Intel Foundry’s vision for a systems foundry to a packed house at Global Semiconductor Alliance’s (GSA’s) U.S. Executive Forum. Kevin’s session provides a compelling overview of the market dynamics driving the need for a systems foundry, the capabilities the industry requires, and why Intel Foundry is uniquely positioned to deliver those capabilities. We hope you’ll tune in.

Please also stay tuned to this space for future posts digging into Intel Foundry’s strategy for delivering the systems foundry that the AI era needs.
