Editor’s note: Much of the content of this blog post comes from our internal news team, Intel’s Employee Communications team. Thanks for the photos, the stories, the pranks and especially the laughs!

One of this year’s April’s Fool’s Day fake news stories spoofed Intel’s rampant use of acronyms (we even have an internal Intelpedia page dedicated to translating them!). Note: You may have to be an employee, or know an employee, to get some of the acronyms. And if you do understand the conversation and haven’t applied for an opening yet, what are you waiting for?!

Busy Intel parents don't have time for long-winded conversations with their kids. Once they know OIL (Official Intel Lingo), however, they find that communicating is a breeze! Here's an IM exchange one Intel employee recently had with her son:

So now you know what some of us talk like, but do you know what we look like? You may have heard about the infamous Intel bunny suits, but another April’s Fool’s Day spoof touched on “Big changes to bunny suits”:

Management is pleased to announce a policy attire change that will now allow manufacturing technicians in fabs and assembly test facilities to choose from four new bunny suit/smock styles. Instead of all employees on the floor looking the same and wearing identical garments, the new changes will allow employees to be more creative and unique.

Starting in May, manufacturing techs can choose from the following new or updated bunny suit/smock options: Camouflage Comfy, Polka Dot Parka or Miss Kitty.

Those are just two of the fake news stories that our Employee Communications team published in a special April Fool's Edition of its intranet news site. After all, if you can't laugh at yourselves…well, than you're just missing out. 360+ days until next year's pranks! What will they come up with next year??
