Hi! My name is Vladimir but I'm known as 'VB'. I'm originally from Moscow but moved to Nizhny Novgorod in 2003 to work for Intel as a contracted construction project manager. I've been holding various jobs since then and in 2007 I became the Branch General Manager in Nizhny, the biggest Intel office in Russia with over 500 employees nowadays.
I started my first Intel blog (in Russian) back in 2006 and now I'm joining the Jobs@Intel Blog. You'll see a common thread in my posts, "The Value of...". I live with my wife and daughter, just a 2 minute walk from work, but that's just a one of the many reasons I like to work here. I really enjoy the complexity of my job of running the operations of one of the biggest Intel Research and Development sites outside of the US. Talking to people is probably the most enjoyable part of my work so feel free to discuss my thoughts, comment on them or ask questions!
