At Intel Innovation, Pat Gelsinger announced general availability of the Intel® Developer Cloud. This new service breaks down barriers to hardware resources for developers building high-performance applications in AI, scientific computing, and graphics by providing cloud-based access to the latest Intel hardware, including 4th and 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, Intel® Data Center GPU Max Series 1100 and 1550, and Intel® Gaudi®2 processors for deep learning.
When using the Intel Developer Cloud, developers can build, test, and optimize AI and HPC applications. They can also run small- to large-scale AI training, model optimization, and inference workloads that deploy with performance and efficiency. Intel Developer Cloud is based on the open software foundation of oneAPI – the multiarchitecture, multivendor programming model that allows for a single codebase to be deployed across multiple processor types, including CPUs, GPUs, and AI accelerators – providing hardware choice and freedom from proprietary software tools for accelerated compute. Developers can access the latest Intel software developer tools powered by oneAPI, including the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit, Intel® HPC Toolkit, Intel® Rendering Toolkit, and a complete portfolio of Intel AI software tools.
