I would like to know if the HD Graphics 4600 and Iris 5xxx series can be sustained at maximum clock frequency of 1GHz and above.
What are the conditions under which the Graphics stays at max clock?
Assume that we would want to use the QuickSync video as well as other Video processing functions along with Graphics cores (OpenCL GPU code running on the cores), in such a scenario what would be the sustained clock frequency. Will it be the minimum like 200MHz or can it be sustained at higher clocks like 1GHz.
Due to varying power characteristics, some parts with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 may not achieve maximum turbo frequencies when running heavy workloads and using multiple cores concurrently.

Note: Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 allows the processor to operate at a power level that is higher than its TDP configuration and data sheet specified power for short durations to maximize performance.
Also keep in mind that with not all 4th Gen Intel Core Processors with HD4600 graphics will have a max speed of 1GHz, some may be 800MHz. So you may want to confirm the specifications of your processor.
