Hi All,
I would like to run ESDQ (Metro AI Suite Device Qualification Tool) under Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS (kernel: 6.11.0-17-generic) with my machine, which is equipped with CPU: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12500E.
Here is the documents that I refered to:
Intel Metro AI Suite Device Qualification Tool
However, during installation, I've repeatedly faced the error:
ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed.
Execution exited with a non-zero exit status: 1
Failed to install the module Edge Node Curation Script
Failed to install va_enable_node took 6 minutes 36.23 seconds
The console log and kernel message log are attached, please kindly view them if needed.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Milian

Hi milian1,
I managed to install the tool without any errors. I recommend running all of these commands from the Get Started Guide on a system with a fresh OS. Let me know if you encounter any issues.
Regards,
Zul

Hi Zul,
Thank you for providing the Get Started Guide!
Though I actually followed that before post this issue(I use version 1.5 and type "yes" when there is a question ask me if I would like to add a new user to docker group...?)
Today, I try to use the newest version, 1.5.1, with answering "no" when the same problem appeared. The installation process is completed without any fail!
Thank you again.
Best Regards,
Milian

Hi milian1,
I'm glad to hear that your problem has been resolved. Since this issue has been resolved, this thread will no longer be monitored. If you need additional information from Intel, please submit a new question.
Regards,
Zul
