[Robotics SDK]Fail in run_tc_kudan_slam_cpu and run_tc_kudan_slam_gpu

Hi Sir,

 

I'm encountering fails in run_tc_kudan_slam_cpu and run_tc_kudan_slam_gpu.

However, in the logs, all I can check is the message, "RuntimeError: Unable to read position/orientation from /tmp/topic_echo_pose.yaml". I've checked and found that there's no content in /tmp/topic_echo_pose.yaml.

Not sure is this runtime error or something else cause the fail of these two test items, may you give some advices to handling these failures? Thank you.

 

P.s. Attachment: RoboticsSDK_output_20250514.zip contains the whole logs and .csv files of test result and logs.

Additional information for the test environment:

CPU: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-12500E.

OS: Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS

Kernel: 5.15.0-1078-intel-iotg

Hi Milian,


For your information, Intel® Robotics SDK only extended license validity for Kudan Visual SLAM until end of February 2025. This statement is available in Release Notes.


Based on your run_tc_kudan_slam_cpu-log.txt and run_tc_kudan_slam_gpu-log.txt, in the Line 32, you can notice that it failed to load license due to expired.


Full error message as follow:

[kdvisual_ros2]: Failed to load license: Missing or invalid license file! Pass file path to Kd::Visual::Slam or Kd::Visual::MapOptimiser constructor. License has expired (-3)

Will Intel release a new version of Robotics SDK that extend license validity for Kudan Visual SLAM, or is it okay to submit the report with  run_tc_kudan_slam_cpu and run_tc_kudan_slam_gpu fail?
