Ethernet Compliance Test : 100Base-TX signal not stable when link with link partner

Good day to you.

I'm using Intel I211 Gigabit Network card as a link partner to direct another I211 Gigabit Network card to produce 100BaseT signal to run for 100BaseT compliance test but the signal generated is not stable, it keep blinking, please refer to video below:

May i know is there any setting that i can set in the PC that can make the signal stable?

Thanks.

Hello @HLLim,

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

I can recommend that you check for the document #348742 - Intel Lan Software Tools in RDC for the I211-AT 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T Compliance Test.

Specifically, under folder path "TOOLS/DOCS/ieee gig tm.pdf"

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/secure/content-details/348742/intel-network-connections-tools-28-2-pv-lan-software-tools.html?wapkw=348742&DocID=348742

Hi Diego,

I'm using link partner to navigate the DUT to generate 10-BaseT random signal. However, i observed that the signal is intermittent, as shown in the video in the attachment.

May i know is there any way that can get the constant signal?

I can't find the solution in the document as you suggested.

Thanks.
