Hi,
I'm designing a customized NIC with BMC onboard based on X710-BM2. To be able to use ixgbe driver for legacy software, I intend to make this NIC a dual layout design for both 82599 and X710 (dual-port 10Gbps SFI).
In the latest datasheet of X710/XL710, it says in chapter 14.2:
...
See the Transitioning from the Intel® Ethernet Controller 82599 to X710/XL710: Dual Layout Design Considerations and Guidelines application note for information on creating an 82599 backwardcompatible design.
...
But how can I access this application note?
Thanks and best regards,
yervant
