(Re-posting in this forum per Intel Support) Hello. I'm attempting to run the EPCT on ESXi 8.x. I've downloaded 1.40.5.5 and followed the instructions to install using the following command:
esxcli software vib install -d <path/package_file>.zip
Further instructions for running / accessing the tool are not specifically given for ESXi.
My second attempt followed a post on this forum. I tried uploading the tool to my ESXi datastore and running the standalone application (as in 'sh ./epctn64e') This fails with syntax errors, and I've downloaded previous versions to see if I am hitting some sort of bug. I have attached a screenshot of these failures.
How do instantiate / access the tool after following the ESXi installation instructions in the README?
Thanks all.

Hello, @justanengineer:
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
We received your request, but we want to address the following questions to understand the situation:
Could you please clarify if this request is related to a design developed by you or if it is a third-party company device? What is the part number of the Intel device associated with your design?
Could you please let us know the name of the manufacturer, the part number, and where we can find the information if this request is related to a third-party design?
Is this forum a duplicate of the one stated in the following website created by you?
We are waiting for your answer.
Best regards,

The part is an 'Intel E810-CQDA2 Ethernet 100Gb 2-port QSFP28 OCP3 Adapter for HPE'. The HPE Part Number is P22767-B21.
Yes, this is a duplicate post, I was directed via an email from Intel Customer Support to post in this forum instead of the ethernet forum.

@CarlosAM_INTELI am not asking a question about an HPE product. I am requesting support for the Intel Ethernet Port Configuration Tool, and all I really need is some instruction on how to run it on ESXi. I find it extremely rude that on a public community forum hosted by your company, you would say "go to HPE's website"
It's possible I did a poor job of explaining my issue.
Here is the tool that I am requesting support for.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19435/ethernet-port-configuration-tool-all-supported-oss.html
And here are threads with other people asking for (and receiving) support for that same tool, including for 3rd party adapters.

@CarlosAM_INTELThanks. I've watched that video. Unfortunately it shows how to run the tool on Windows but does not give hints about ESXi.
Do you have anyone internal with experience with the tool? It feels like it should be simple, I specifically want directions for running the tool after I have installed it as a VIB. I do not see a related namespace in the esxcli, although the installation was successful and running it directly (similar to how you would in Windows) is throwing the errors in my original screenshot.
