As shown in section 14.1.1 JTAG Test Mode Description of the i210 Datasheet (Doc. # 333016); this ethernet controller includes a JTAG (TAP) port that is compliant with the IEEE standard 1149.1 - 2001 Edition. As JTAG is an open standard we don’t provide internal guidelines of how to program it (it can be found on external sources); however, it is specified support for the following JTAG instructions shown on Table 14-2. TAP Instructions:
* BYPASS
* EXTEST
* SAMPLE / PRELOAD
* IDCODE
* USERCODE
* HIGHZ
