Hi,
We have an Intel Multifunction Accelerator Platform card named MAP80/100. The card comes with 2 XL710 NICs on-board and runs 40GbE firmware. We want to change one of them to 10GbE quad ports. After updating the i40e driver to the latest version (2.22) and downloading the latest Software & NVM image release from Intel Download Center.
First, we successful updated the firmware to a 10GbE firmware of type XAUI interface. But we want to change the firmware to other one which support SFI interface. The 2nd update runs also successful but after a A/C power cycle I got 'RECOVERY not available' message reported by the nvmupdate64e tool. (and 'Firmware recovery mode detected' as reported by the i40e driver)
How do I resolve this RECOVERY issue? Any further info needed to investigate the issue please let me know.
Thanks in advance
Thanh

Hi thho,
We understand that your product is related to FPGA Programmable Acceleration Cards - specifically, the Intel Multifunction Accelerator Platform MAP80/100. However, since the inquiry is primarily focused on the onboard XL710 NIC, we might have a forum for those specific issues and we are moving it to Embedded Connectivity so it can get answered more quickly.
Best regards,
