XL827 with Broadwell D-1500

Hello,
In our development we want to connect the 10GBase-KR interface of the Xeon D-1500 on a COM Express module to an Intel XL827 to get full SFP+ functionality.
We know that this combination is not validated.
However, the XL827 is also much newer than the documents for the D-1500.
What is the situation regarding LEK files. Will this work with the generic 10GbE NVM KR files?
Is there a tool to configure these files?
Is it possible to get a evalualtion board for the XL827/C827?
