Hi
We have implemented i210 in our custom carrier card without external flash. We have successfully flashed iNVM with the images and we see ethernet port created. But when we connect to host laptop, the speed is showing as 10Mbps. Sometimes the ethernet port created will continuously shows link up for 1000Mbps and it goes down.
Do we need to program any internal registers of i210 to make it 100Mbps or 1000Mbps ?
Shafi.

Hello, @Shafi:
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
We want to address the following questions to understand this situation:
Could you please let us know the INVM file that you used? And, where do you find it?
Where do you buy the Intel® Ethernet Controller I210 related to this situation? What are the documents used to implement your design?
We are waiting for your answer.
Best regards,

Hi CarlosAM_INTEL,
Appreciate your quick response.
We have implemented i210-IT as per the reference schematic.
We are using Elkhart Lake x6000 and PCIeC interface from CPU to i210. Hardware design implementation is without external flash. We are using Yocto Linux, kernel version is 5.10.
We have downloaded the EEPROM tool for Linux from below weblink.
iNVM production image are downloaded from below link.
https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/
I210_Invm_Copper_NoAPM_v0.6.txt is used to flash the iNVM.
./eeupdate64e /NIC=1 /INVMUPDATE /FILE=I210_Invm_Copper_NoAPM_v0.6.txt /MAC=1CFD0873D2EF
Where do you buy the Intel® Ethernet Controller I210 related to this situation?
Our Hardware design supplier purchased WGI210IT S LJXS from https://www.yic-electronics.com/pdf/WGI210IT.html.

Thank you for reply. I have gone through the sections as mentioned by you.
Is there any document which will help me in how to program the registers mentioned in the sections(sections 3.7.1, 6.8.6.1 (FSD’s info), 3.7.8.5.4, and Table 3-30, on pages 88, 234, 120, 121, and 115 ). Presently only PCIe interface from SoC to i210 is available.
