I have the Intel E3805 Atom processor in a design and need to address Erratum #VLI8S.
The erratum relates to the power up sequence of the V1P8A and V1P0A power rails.
We have installed Intel TXE Firmware 1.1.5.1162 to address the problem on current product; however, a newer spin of hardware resolves the power sequence issue by powering up the V1P0A rail first, and then V1P8A.
Will a system with TXE Firmware 1.1.5.1162 run properly with hardware that implements the preferred power sequence (V1P0A before V1P8A) ?
