I am working on Q7-EL-x6211E-24N0211E PCBFTX (x86-64 based architecture) soc and using kernel linux-6.1.97.
I could not instantiate I2C device “tsc 2007” although I can see in kernel message that tsc2007 driver is registered.
Moreover when I try to Instantiate tsc2007 from user-space by using following command:
echo tsc2007 0x48 > /sys/bus/i2c/devices/i2c-3/new_device
I get error:
[ 3681.853755] tsc2007 3-0048: Missing ti,x-plate-ohms device property
Please inform me how can I fix this problem in x86_64 based processor.
In arm based processor I could have used “dts” file but I do not know how to do it in x86_64
Thank you !!
