Dear All...
I would like to know if this Baytrail I stepping 0x09 is supported by some of the FSP versions, and, if supported which FSP should I use..
Looks like a very old stepping compared with today new steppings.
Thank you,
Jose Trujillo.

Hello, RTS_JT :
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
The Bay Trail devices should support the Intel(R) Firmware Support Package [Intel(R) FSP] without steeping restrictions. You can confirm this information and more details on page 28 of the https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/522355 IOTG Bay Trail Dashboard Presentation document # 522355.
The suggested FSP version for Bay Trail is listed on page 9 of the https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/539671 FSP for ISG Platforms Message of the Week (MOW) WW 37, 2014 document # 539671.
These documents are classified as Intel confidential, which requires a CDNA between your company and Intel as well as a Privileged Resource & Design Center (RDC) account. It can be requested by filling out the form stated at the following website:
https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/design/registration-privileged.html https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/forms/design/registration-privileged.html
We hope that this information may help you.
Best regards,
Carlos_A .

Thank you Carlos,
I will resume on the FSP route now.
But let me tell you that the CDI# 521195 is pointing to the Gold5 release of FSP, but no longer is Gold2 and the question is if still will be compatible.
I will look into my files if still have a copy of Gold2 release.
On other topic I want to ask you if is possible to get a copy of the following document/kit CDI # 554416 (Bootloader reference solution).
Any reference documentation that you or other Intel engineers want to share about bootloaders like coreboot or other solutions will be very appreciated.
I already know that you don't provide support for coreboot, but anyway if you have reference documentation please share.
I am trying to initialize ECC memory with FSP bakersport option and patched FSP binary with the correct memory parameters but no joy... I am getting 2A post code (memory??) but I don't have post code information to make a diagnostic.
Have a nice day.
Greetings.
Jose

Hello, RTS_JT :
Thanks for your reply.
In order to answer your GOLD questions, please refer to the notes on page 28 of the document # 522355, since this dashboard is more recent than the cited MOW.
On the other hand, the Reference Coreboot for Bayley Bay Platform with Bay Trail FSP - MR5 document # 554416 can be found at the following website if you are logged in to your RDC privileged account:
https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/554416?wapkw=554416 https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/554416 https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/554416?wapkw=554416
We hope that this information may help you.
Best regards,

Dear Carlos:
1.- I can't find the document 522355 in the business portal.
2.- and in the link "https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/554416%3Fwapkw%3D554416 https://cdrd.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/554416" shows an error when I click on it and redirects me to Intel's main page.
Thank you,
Jose Trujillo

Hello, RTS_JT :
Thanks for your update.
In order to be on the same page, could you please tell me if you have researched the cited documents at the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/design/resource-design-center.html Resource & Design Center for Development with Intel website? In case that you answer is affirmative, could you please log in using your RDC privileged and then research these documents to download them?
Waiting for your answer to the previous questions.
Best regards,
Carlos_A.

Hello Carlos,
I am sorry about this,
I succeeded with the 522355 but not yet with 554416.
An image worth more than 1000 words.
When I enter the link manually into the browser I get:
522355 --OK
554416 --No success
Thank you,
Jose Trujillo
