I have an Intel Valley V Processor part no FH8065301487717 SR3UT Could I get the IBIS-AMI files to simulate the PCIe interface? I am using Mentors Hyperlynx tool and already have the IBIS-AMI files from the FPGA we are using. Thanks Thanks, Vinny

Hello, @vtoka:

Thank you for contacting Intel; Embedded Community.

The Bay Trail-M/D/I System on a Chip (SoC) Input/Output (I/O) Buffer Information Specification Models document # 508793 has the requested files. This document can be found when you are logged into your Resource & Design Center (RDC) privileged account at the following website:

http://www.intel.com/cd/edesign/library/asmo-na/eng/538136.htm

The RDC Account Support form is the channel to report or solve any inconvenience related to the cited sites, also process your RDC account upgrade. It can be found at:

Thanks,

Your link takes me to a pdf document called 538136-vlv-i-eds-rev-4-5.pdf

In that document I can't seem to find anything with regards to IBIS models. What page are you referring to or am I misunderstanding you?

Thanks,

Vinny

I already had these files. They are mostly HSPICE models. It looks like you don't have IBIS AMI for this CPU series?

Thanks,

Vinny

Hello, @vtoka:

We suggest you review the information stated in sections 1.1.1, and 1.1.2 of the Bay Trail-M/D SoC IBIS User Guide (named VLV_Buffer_Package_UserGuide_Rev1p2.pdf), which is included in the VLV2_USERGUIDE_PAE folder of the Bay Trail-M/D/I SoC I/O Buffer Information Specification Models document # 508793.

I need IBIS Algorithmic Modeling Interface (IBIS-AMI) files. Not just standard IBIS models as provided. That means there should be .ami files in the folder, which I do not see mentioned in the user guide, nor do I find them in the folder contents.

If you don't know what IBIS-AMI are, please check the link below. It sounds like Intel does not normally provide these or create them. Which is strange considering your FPGA side of the business does.

How come you guys couldn't just say "We do not support IBIS-AMI for our CPUs" in the first reply?

https://www.sisoft.com/uploads/IBIS-AMI.pdf

Ibis-ami files for FPGAs below (notice there are actual .ami files provided):

Thanks,

Vinny
