Tizen 3.0 for atom Z3735

Hi ,

I took a tablet with Atom Z3735 available in the market and trying to port Tizen 3.0 in to it. I could see tizen 3.0 IVI is built for atom 3827. So I tried to do a USB boot using pre-built image on my tablet but I don't see any display and tried with HDMI still no luck. My question here is

How can I see the kernel logs

Do we have any Tizen source code for Z3735 or any link/doc guide me to port Tizen for Z3735 chip

whether the Tizen 3.0 IVI developed for 3827 kernel compatible with Z3735? If I want to change how much change required, Major or minor changes.

much appreciated for your king help

Hello Sudhakar,

Unfortunately the BayTrail Z3745 Bay Trail -T is on the "off-roadmap" and its support is for limited manufacturers. For this reason, we do not have support for this processor. You should be working with an ISV, if not you may need to get support thru the codec vendor (TI). Click on http://ark.intel.com/compare/80273,80272,80274,80275 this link to learn more about the specifications of the Z3735 family.

Thanks,

Sergio

Hello sudhakar

As you can see on the following page: https://www-ssl.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/atom/atom-z3700-consumer-tablets-brief.html Intel® Atom™ Processor Z3700 Series for Consumer Tablets: Brief , Baytrail Z37XX series, was designed for Windows 8, Tablet market, no other distribution is officially supported by Intel.

My guess is that probably any newer Linux distribution will supported, but I can't guarantee that all the drivers will be supported.

The Yocto Project also has a generic kernel for Intel platforms that could be of interest to you: https://www.yoctoproject.org/downloads/bsps/daisy16/generic-x86-and-generic-x86-64 https://www.yoctoproject.org/downloads/bsps/daisy16/generic-x86-and-generic-x86-64 please bear in mind that Yocto is not supported on this channel, so if this option is of interest to you, you should use the Yocto support channels.

Best Regards,

Adolfo.
