APL Linux 平台提供了标准的watchdog 驱动，因此可以使用Linux 标准的GPIO 操作方法来定制GPIO 接口，此功能是用CONFIG_ITCO_WDT 选项控制的，在默认情况下是打开的，且watchdog 驱动文件iTCO_vendor_support.ko 和iTCO_wdt.ko默认是加载到内核的。用户在用户态编程时可以使用标准的watchdog 接口调用使用watchdog 功能。
