Hi , I was wondering if anyone has been able to get an intel 82801hm/hem SATA controller running in AHCI mode as opposed to IDE mode. The motherboard I'm using is a EasyBoard-841E. The bios has a setting to auto detect AHCI mode , but it still insists on running in IDE mode. The output of a lspci -nn gives :-
00:1f.2 IDE interface [0101]: Intel Corporation 82801HM/HEM (ICH8M/ICH8M-E) SATA Controller [IDE mode] [8086:2828] (rev 04)
