Dear community.
For obsolescence reasons we need to change from a TN80C186XL to a EE80C186XL.
My problem however is that our customer wants to see a datasheet confirming that the parts are identical with respect to electrical characteristics, but I couldn't find any datasheet on the Internet containing a part number with the "EE" prefix from which I could prove that the EE type is a valid Substitute for the TN prefixed type. The part number only appears in the discontinuation notice from 2006.
Can anybody help?
P.S.: If no datasheet exists, is there maybe a letter, flyer, email or similar from INTEL explaining what the EE prefix stands for?
Regards
Roger P.

Dear Carlos_A
Great how fast you responded !
One small follow-up questions remains: Can you tell me what "S F12" means, that is used in conjunction with some parts?
P.S.: I wonder why the QDMS database didn't list the PCN when I searched it. It only listed the discontinuation notice.

Hello, Roger_P. :
Thanks for your reply.
The information related to the cited suffix should be provided by the place of purchase of the cited devices, this suggestion is based on the information stated at the provided DCL.
However, based on the information stated in the Authorized Dealer website as a reference, we found that it is related to shipping media (Tape and Reel in this case), you can confirm as a reference at the yellow highlighted information in the following screenshot and/or websites:

On the other hand, your QDMS questions and/or suggestions should be addressed by filling out the https://qdms.intel.com/Support/Support-IntelQDMS.aspx QDMS Support form.
We hope that this information may help you.
