Do we must use the GPP_F22 to reset the outside pcie devices?

We use i7-9850he and Coffee Lake H platform in our board, but we have a question.

When we bush the reset button, occasional  the cpu 's pcie can not find the pex8624. The pcie  is Gen2.0 or auto. Our board user the PLTRST# to reset the outside pcie devices, do we must use the GPP_F22 to  reset the outside pcie devices according the attachment picture?
