Dear Sir,
We have a custom board (Named As DIF) based on AMD-Xilinx ZynqUltraScale+ SOC based board having 10G Base-KR Xilinx IP is interfaced to Curtis -Wright Board having Intel Xeon D 1599 Processor LAN Controller. On Intel Xeon D Wind River VxWorks has been ported. We are working for 10Gbe interface.
If we Enable AN and FEC, Link is not coming up. If AN and FEC is disabled, Link comes up and we are able to do the data transfer. But the problem is that " We are observing the PCS errors." . Hence we need to enable the FEC and AN, and the link should come up.
Please provide us the debug steps/procedures to debug the current scenario.
Regards,
Chetan Biluve

Hello, @ChetanBiluve:
Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.
Based on the provided description, could you please confirm that the Intel part number related to the reported situation is "the Intel Xeon D 1599 Processor LAN Controller"?
By the way, you mentioned that the cited Intel part number is associated with a third-party product, could you please give us all the information (such as the part number, where we can find its documentation and other details) related to this third-party device?
We are waiting for your reply.

Dear Sir,
One correction is that , We are using Intel Xeon D-1559 Processor.
Details of the Third party IP (AMD-Xilinx 10G IP) is as below:
We are using 10G/25G Ethernet MAC and BASE-KR IP for the backplane connection with Intel SBC. The part numbers for phy and MAC are as follows
Phy - EF-DI-25GBASE-KR-SITE with clause 74 FEC, AN
MAC - EF-DI-25GEMAC-SITE
Following link has the details and documentation regarding the same.
10G/25G Ethernet Subsystem (xilinx.com)
I have attached the product data sheet of CW board where Intel Xeon-D 1559 processor is used. We are using 10G Base -KR link to establish the connection with Xilinx IP.
Please Check once.

Dear Sir,
Also please provide us the register details of 10G KR PHY.
I am referring the "xeon-d-1500-datasheet-vol-4" data sheet for LAN controller. It has been mentioned that PHY registers (PCS, FEC, etc) are accessed through indirect way, but no where details of PHY indirect register info is given.
