Hi. I'm hardware engineer from South Korea.
I'd like to get some support from Intel community product forum.
I'm developing SBC(Single Board Computer) with Intel Tigerlake-H processor.
I'd like to figure out whether the selected memory chip is compatible with TGL-H processor.
I'm going to use TGL-H processor(Xeon W-11000series).
1. Intel Xeon W-11865MRE
2. Intel Xeon W-11555MRE
3. Intel Xeon W-11155MRE
1) Is it okay to use DDR4 SDRAM( MT40A2G8SA-062E IT:F ) with TGL-H processor?
Tigerlake-H Design Guide
(Ref. Intel Document > 4.7 TGL H DDR4 1R*8 Memory Down Memory Topology
618429_TGL_H_PDG_SchChk_Rev1p9)
Wanted Memory: Total 32GB(16GB*2 Channel) with ECC, Memory Down, 3200MT/s
So 1 Channel need 9(8+1 for ECC buffer) chip.
1 die = 2GB = 16Gb
I find Micron DDR4 SDRAM MT40A2G8 chip.
part No. ( MT40A2G8SA-062E IT:F )
2) All of them support ECC(Error Correction Code) function
