help : drivers required for Wahweap Canyon / Ibex Peak GbE?

good evening ffolks:

we have easily installed Windows Server 2008R2, Red Hat Linux v5 server AP, and Fedora 10 on a disk on the Jasper Forest (Xeon C5500) based Wahweap Canyon (WC!) CRB.

unfortunately, the management Ethernet interface connected to the back panel controlled from the Ibex Peak PCH is not activated at all.

is there a special Linux or Windows driver that has to be installed on WC for Ibex Peak + 82577 PHY's Ethernet interface?

Hi,

You'll need to manually install the ethernet driver for this platform as its not packaged w/ the OSs you mentioned - they're released before the hw became available.

from where do i get the Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) drivers for the GbE interfaces on the Jasper Forest / Xeon C5500 based Wahweap Canyon Customer Reference Board (CRB)?

the board has two GbE interfaces with 82571 and one GbE interface with 82577
