Hello sir, my Lenovo computer shows that my Ethernet network adapter model is 218LM, I now have a WGI210IT adapter, can I take my WGI218-LM down, and then install this WGI210IT on it, and then the computer system will recognize this my model? This is my confusion, please ask you

Please provide the following information that would help us in better understanding your request. 


1. Exact model of your Lenovo computer.

2. Is the WGI210IT embedded on your Lenovo system or is this a PCIe card?

3. Can you share more information regarding your query? Your Lenovo system has an embedded/integrated I218LM and WGI210IT? Do you wish to disable the I218LM and use the WGI210IT instead? Is this correct? If no, please let us know your intended configuration. 

4. Operating System used.


We'd also like to set your expectation that we might have a limited support and it would be best if you can also get in touch with Lenovo for further support since they have customized drivers and software to enable or alter features on your system. They are in best position where you can seek assistance so you don’t lose features or customizations of the Ethernet controller.
