I asked this question awhile back, but I might not have gotten the best response because I posted in the Desktop Boards forum, but I am still having the issue so I thought I would give it a try here.

Chris -

Thank you for using Intel Ethernet - sorry you are having this odd asymetric problem. What is your motherboard LAN plugged into when you see this problem? Also what is the link speed and duplex you see in your device manager "Link Speed" tab?

My gut feeling is that there is a duplex mismatch and you might need to force your speed and duplex to the correct settings for your hub. Now this will not be the issue if you are connected at 1Gbps since there is only a full duplex ever used at that link speed, but for 10Mbps or 100Mbps both half and full duplex are valid. Based on the problem you describe, it sounds to me like you are configured to be 100Mbps Full Duplex, but perhaps the hub can only do half duplex.

Let us know what you find out.

Cheers,
