I am using a Supermicro C7SIM-Q Motherboard with WIN 7 pro.
I want to build a group of the two onboard NICs 82574L & 82578DM to run LACP ().
As soon as select IEEE 802.3ad I get a popup: AMT activated devices cannot be added to 802.ad-, SLA- or VMLB-groups.
I disabled AMT in the BIOS and deinstalled the Intel Security Software.
What can I do?

The Intel NICs and the SW driver are supposed to support teaming.
What does "AMT capable devices" mean?
Isn't there any possibility to disable this capability?

The AMT capable devices refers to the device that support Intel Active Management Technology. You may refer to this link http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/intel-active-management-technolog... for the technology

there is mentioned that an add-on NIC card will work and there are recommandations for a single port and a dual port card.
Before you mentioned, that teaming is not supported by AMT capable devices.
So, would it work to add a single port card and team it with the internal (AMT capable NIC)?
If I understood right, a dual port NIC is needed, right?
I have here an Intel - PRO/1000 PT Dual Port PCIe Adapter, I hope that one will work.

Thank you for the update. Teaming is achieved when there is on server adapter (that supports teaming) is present in the team. Intel PRO 1000 PT dual port server adapter supports teaming.
You can add a single port adapter(as long as this adapter supports teaming)

Additional information. You can team the two ports of the PRO/1000 PT dual port server adapter without adding another adapter for link aggregation implementation. If you will implement AFT (adaptive fault tolerance) you need to add another adapter for fault tolerance purpose.
