Personal desktop PC, ASUS VANGUARD B85 mainboard onboard ethercard Intel® I217V, now need to install a intel I350-T4 PCI-E 4 port gigabit ethercard, run Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system. Ask: they can be used together?

Hi bobyuan,
There is no Windows 2012 R2 driver for I217V ethernet controller, it will not be properly detected on your system. It is recommended you check with Asus support if both can be installed together on their system, Normally the system vendor has tested list of network adapters to check if the network adapter is compatbiel on the system.

I found the solution to the problem. Can modify the i217V driver hardware ID, enter the \PRO1000\Winx64\NDIS64 directory, find the e1d64x64.inf file...
Another method is relatively simpler, can directly to install i217-LM drive...
