Best Team option for Hyper-V Servers

I've been reading on both VMLB and 802.3ab and it seems that if you have the switches that'll support 802.3ab that it would be the better option for multiple nics. We have a 3 node Hyper-V cluster and I have 3 nics that i use that are spread out between 40 virtuals. I wanted to create 1 Team instead and add the 3 nics to that Team but have it run at the 3GB and be switch and adapter tolerant. Can someone give me their opinion what they'd do if they had switches that support the 802.3ab switches vs. VMLB and why?

Thank you,
