Can Intel 82567LM-2G nic support 300Mbps download speed? Using Intel DX58SO mobo, XP Pro.

My service provider showed me speedtest.net on one of their laptops connected by cat5e cable to my modem with 312 Mbps, whereas my machine shows 140 Mbps.
