I am having a trouble with my PC. I am not able to connect with Internet after I restarted my computer to finish some updates for Windows10. I found there is problem with ethernet controller, the "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-LM" cannot be updated. I download drivers from the Intel website https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25016/Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10 Download Network Adapter Driver for Windows® 10 and tried to install the network drivers on my PC, but got the error "Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer."

The network troubleshoot is as follows

Not fixed

There is a problem with the driver for Ethernet Controller. The driver needs to be reinstalled.

Thank you for the post. What is the brand and model of your PC? The driver available on our Intel website is a generic driver, it is recommended you contact the board vendor to obtain customized driver that is for your I217-LM for your system.
