Confirm authenticity of i350-T2?

With these photos of an i350-T2, are there any telltale signs of genuine vs fake? There's a sticker indicating it was made in Malaysia in 2012 which predates the yottamark, etc. I found a helpful post on servethehome regarding signs of authenticity for the -T4 but most of the clues don't apply to the T2 I have. Thanks, Dale https://imgur.com/a/genuine-intel-i350-t2-GIfc2hM

Hi DaleSon,

Greetings from Intel.

Hope you are doing great.

Could you please confirm from where you purchased the NIC.

So that we can look into it and proceed farther accordingly.

Regards,

Ali

Hi Mac,

I bought the NIC used from someone locally. He said it was pulled from a server. The following article discusses the signs of a genuine Intel NIC but I'm not an IT professional and the card I have is a dual port with multiple differences. The crystal on my card is branded TXC though I understand that is not determinative.

Thanks,
Dale

Hi DaleSon

Greeting!

There is no Brady ID or YottaMark available to verify the product from Intel. It may have been shipped as an OEM product. I suggest contacting the place where you purchased this product for further assistance.

Thanks Azeem, I ended up downloading Intel's System Support Utility and generating a detailed report on the NIC, which corroborated physical details of the NIC in hand.
