I just bought a new dell 9380. Updated the drivers for thunderbolt. When I restarted the computer I got an error message that says This Thunderbolt Software is no longer in use and can be uninstalled safely. So I looked at my applications and saw that I had the Software and Control Center. Did the software get replaced by control center and is it safe to uninstall the thunderbolt software or is that something that should be kept?

Hello RMaxw4,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I would like to inform you that Thunderbolt™ is a technology that computer manufacturers customize for their platforms. Intel® provides firmware and driver updates directly to OEMs (HP*, Lenovo*, Dell*, and so on) and doesn't support their products.
We recommend you to get in contact with your manufacturer for the latest updates and technical support information.
Regards,
