Hi! I would like to know what are the difference between

E10G42BTDA and E10G42BFSR

the first one has a cable type:

SFP+ direct attached

twin axial cabling up to 10 m

and the second one:

MMF 62.5/50 μm

up to 300 m

I need to use the E10GSFPSR. Wich one of the previously mentioned network adapter is compatible with this sfp+ module?

And what about your E10G41BFSR?

Thank you.

Regards,

Kaiyu

Hi Kaiyu,

http://www.intel.com/support/network/adapter/pro100/sb/CS-030612.htm http://www.intel.com/support/network/adapter/pro100/sb/CS-030612.htm has the answers you are looking for.

E10G42BTDA and E10G42BFSR

are the same except that one ships without optical modules (BTDA) and one has SR optical modules installed (BFSR). Both adapters can use E10GSFPSR.

E10G41BFSR has one port and E10G42BFSR has two ports. Both adapters can use E10GSFPSR.

I hope this helps.
