Disable jumbo packet on I226

I have a Intel® Ethernet Controller I226 network card, and I want to disable the jumbo packet in the properties. However, in the Value drop-down box, it doesn't have the 'Disable' option.

Can anyone please help?

Regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Good day and thank you for reaching out the Intel Community Support.

Can you provide a screenshot on the drop down button that is missing to disable the jumbo frames?

Also, may I know what is the model/make of your laptop/desktop that has the I226 in the system?

Thanks,

Hi Faez,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Attached is the screenshot for your reference. In the "Value" field, it only allows me to amend the number.

It is a desktop that I assembled using different components from the market. The motherboard is support Gen10 CPU.

Regards,

Paul

I think with this 1514-byte value Jumbo Frame is effectively disabled. For instance, on my PC with an Intel, a Realtek, and a Hyper-V virtual NIC, the setting for Jumbo Frames might have different names on the "Advanced" tab of the Properties dialog, but in the Registry they all have the same Keyword "JumboPacket" and a value of 1514.

Here is my output for the PowerShell command Get-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty
