Does X540-T2 support MDI-X

In the user guide the following is written:

Intel Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Server Adapters using copper connections automatically accommodate either MDI or MDI-X connection.

 

When i run ethtool:

Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540-T2 support MDI-X. Please refer to the link below for the recommended cables to use.

Hi Crisselle C

I was able to address my query.

I found the isuss as well. I was baffled that linux dosen't have any background traffic (like windows have), send to my windows machine. So the byte counter as was 1000 to 0 bytes.
