Hi All,
I am using E810 NIC cards in my client & server. I have 5 virtual interfaces [ ens2f0np0.5 to ens2f0np0.9 ] with the same MAC address in the client & 5 virtual interfaces [eth8.5 to eth8.9] with the same MAC on the server.
So, my test recreates all the virtual interfaces everytime & tries to ping those IPV6 IP's from the host.
When i have 5 virtual interfaces on the client, i am able to ping the corresponding target IP's but
the issue happens when i have more than 5 virtual interfaces on the client. i.e when i increase the virtual interfaces count in the client by 1 then , none of the virtual interfaces are pinging from the host.
So, the question here is:
a) Can duplicate MAC address across VLAN in E810 NIC is accepted ???
b) Are there any limits on the num of duplicate MAC address per port ?
