E810-CQDA2 performance on dual ports at the same time

It is not clear if the whole card(E810-CQDA2) can only generate 100G at the same time or can it generate 200G? I run a test with both ports connected b2b with a dac cable and run a unidirectional test at the same time , I get appox 50Gbps per port actually

Which motherboard/CPU are you using? The PCIe Gen4 x16 interface of the card is capable of handling more then 200Gbit/s, but many factors limit the achievable bandwidth:

  • PCIe link
  • CPU load

Last but not least, the E810 chip could limit the throughput, but I doubt it.
