Will this information works for finding adopter is retail or OEM? We want to apply QoS on ingress traffic.

Hello MuhammadUzairJawaid,

Thank you very much for responding and for providing us an update. We have tried checking the Part no. k91258-006 based on the screenshot that you have provided and unfortunately it is not reflecting on our system. Would it be okay if we can ask for a picture of the markings instead so we can have it validated?

If you have questions or other clarifications please let us know so we can help you further.

Thanks for providing the document. I am more concern with ingress traffic. In datasheet its mentioned there are some registers to configure QoS on RX path. ETS/Non ETS/Strict. How to configure them? I want to set TC0 on strict and TC1, TC2 on ETS 50% BW on receive side.

We have received an update from our engineering team however they are needing more context for this so that we can advise you properly. Aside from being more concern with ingress traffic, can you also provide us the summary of your plan and the details on the configurations that you have done so far?

If you have questions or other clarifications please let us know so we can help you further.

I want to control the ingress traffic. TC0 is strict and TC1 and TC2 are ETS 50. Using ingress path QoS

Can you confirm my understanding?

Intel E810 has the feature of QoS (ETS, NON-ETS, Strict) on ingress RX path inside nic that can control ingress data (policing or traffic shaping).

This can be done by using PF - Rx QoS Registers.
