As in document 705813 is given that E810 series does not support debian but as the document is few months old has anything changed or is there a firmware issue because we are receiving low performance on debian as compared to Ubuntu or RedHat.

Hello Pratik-A,

Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities.

For us to further check the issue, please provide the following details.

  1. Can you provide the link of the document that you are referring for us to have checked and updated?
  2. Are you designing a system with embedded E810?

If you have questions, please let us know. In case we do not hear from you, we will make a follow up after 3 workings days. Thank you.

Hello Pratik-A,

Appreciate the quick reply. The document that you provided is dated January 21, 2022 so this is still new and yes Debian OS is not supported as per the document.

Let me also provide this link as our official supported OS link and it was last reviewed on 04/13/2022. So this list is latest and I am sorry to say that Debian OS is not on the list.

However, if your network card is onboard or embedded on your board. The OS validation will now depend on the motherboard. Are you using an onboard E810?

If you have questions, please let us know. In case we do not hear from you, we will make a follow up after 3 workings days. Thank you.
