Dear all,

During the design, due to the size limitation of our NIC PCB, to make routing easier, we would not like to apply Polarity Swap on the TX_L0 and TX_L1 traces leading to the SFP0 and SFP1 transceivers as recommended by the reference design.

Will such a difference from the reference design require a change to the original firmware? If so, is it possible to independently make these changes to the NVM? We did not find a clear answer in the datasheet or other documentation as to whether this is required and how it can be done.
