E810 loosing latency function vs xxv710 on 4x bus?

Hi

 I would like some precision on the network card E810XXVDA2 that can be used on linux system, debian. It will be to use the card on pci3 x4 only. Like, in order to get the new feature of the DDP protocol acelleration and rocev2 : It need to be 2x E810 facing or What will it be for a E810 facing a xxv710 ?

As well, what is the Nvme rdma speed boost.. there's not much real world info... as in doing a test it help to copy faster or so .. ?

And based on a pci3 x4, is the low latency feature of the e810 serie just get negated by the pci bus speed ... this making a better choice to get xxv710 instead ? Or still, the e810 could provide better work load among cpu core ...    For 25 - 25g situation  and 25-10g situation.

The setup will be mostly point to point for like 4 unit connected all together in kind of a ring.  pc1: port 1out to port 2 of pc2 .. All on da2 card. All pc only get available 1 slot pci-e3 4x electric. All to be used in virtualization proxmox/esxi and perhaps using the nPar function on half.

 As on real world speed bench, it can be nice if you have some as it will be mostly to transfert/decompress file like over nfs and live backup. No vlan stuff used.

I was about to received a first xxv710 and would like more info on the feature of the 810 before getting other. As if i transfert like : mswindows.iso from vm#1 on pc1  -to  pc3 in vm#6 .. is any used of thoses diff feature ?

 

 *on nPar, is both give only static bw assignation or it's possible to have it also in auto mode ? As port 1 bw set pf3=10g , pf4=10g .. but will auto adjust to like 22g on pf3 if higher speed is required ..
