EXPI9400PF - or any fiber card.. - cabling question

Hello,

I'm using Linux with this card. I want to use 50micrometer cable , instead of 62.5 one. Should I touch / change anything in driver parameter ? This card is compatible with both, but is it automatic ?

Hi Saar,

By now you probably found your answer elsewhere, but I will answer anyway in case someone else reads this thread.

You do not have to configure anything on the fiber adapters related to using different diameter cables. This is true for any OS and on any of our fiber adapters.
