Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710 INF latest driver

Hello

I have a PC with an Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710 D4. Im using Windows 10 Enterprise.

Lately, Im having some performing and packet loss issue. Looking at Intel forum, it is recommended to install the latest driver.  According with Intel page, the recommendation is to download the Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack.

The attached file Release 10.5 .zip contains the driver for most of the Intel Ethernet Adapter.

Can you tell me which exactly is the driver for the Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710?

Is it under PRO40GB folder?

Thank you

Dalia

Hello DaliaR,

Greetings!!

To assist you further with the issue related to your Intel® Ethernet Adapter, could you please confirm whether the adapter was purchased separately or if it came pre-installed with your system.

This information will help us determine the correct support path and identify if the adapter is an OEM (system manufacturer) component or a retail Intel adapter. Once confirmed, we can guide you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps and driver recommendations.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello Vishal

Im sorry for the late response. For some reason my previous message was not sent.

The ethernet adapter was purchased separately and the windows 10 enterprise was installed separately.
I just need the driver for the board.

Waiting ti hear from you

Hello Vishal,

Before posting to the Intel forum, I already tried to see if there was any information in the "user manual/release".

You can try by yourself:
1. Go to the link you pointed.
2. Press the button to download the " Intel® Ethernet Adapters and Devices User Guide". The document is empty and it states:  " This document is no longer available in the software release. View it on the Intel Resource and Documentation Center at https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/705831
3. It relink to the "Welcome to Intel® Ethernet Adapters and Devices User Guide!".... From here,  try to find the answer to my original question... Honestly, I couldn't find it, which is why I posted to the forum.

What is the Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710 INF latest driver? How to install it correctly?

Note. I also opened the "Release document"; it's empty.

Vishal, I would appreciate it if you could reproduce how to find the right INF (Windows driver) or how to install it correctly.

Waiting for your reply

Hi DaliaR,

Greetings.

Regarding your enquiry about identifying the correct file to properly install the driver, once you have downloaded the driver pack from (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15084/intel-ethernet-adapter-complete-driver-pack.html), you may check the folder -Release_30.5\PRO40GB\Winx64\NDIS68.

Below is the excerpt from readme.txt :

PRO40GB Winx64 NDIS68 README

The driver package files in this folder can be used to install drivers

for Intel(R) Ethernet 700 Series devices on the following operating

systems:

* Microsoft* Windows* 10 [1]
