Ethernet Network Adapter 710 Series Firmware version 7.00

I'm looking for firmware version 7.00 for the ​Ethernet Network Adapter 710 Series. This is required for VMware compatibility on esxi 6.7. I've looked everywhere and can only find version 6.8. any ideas when 7.00 is being release as VMWare say until I use version 7.00 don't upgrade. Below are the 2 links to version 6.8

Hello LClay1, Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities. Upon checking our download site, the latest is still version 6.80. There is no word yet on when the version 7.00 will come out.
