Hello YB,

Thank you for posting in Intel Ethernet Communities.

You may consider visiting link below Bracket Replacement Policy for Intel® Ethernet Adapters. Mentioned on the article that all retail adapters capable of supporting both low and standard height brackets are shipped with both brackets in the package.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000021596/ethernet-products.html

To know if the card supports low and standard height brackets, you may check the product specifications of the specific product and check the Bracket Height.

Sharing the specifications of Intel® Ethernet Network Adapter E810-CQDA1 for your reference. You can check the link below for the Bracket Height information.

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/192561/intel-ethernet-network-adapter-e810cqda1.html

For Original Equipment Manufacturer(OEM), this may depend on the manufacturer and we suggest contacting them regarding the bracket information.

We hope that this answers your query. Feel free to let us know if you have questions or clarifications.

Awaiting to your reply.

We will follow up after 3 business days in case we don't hear from you.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

How to determine is the adapter is a retail one?

For example, is MM#940128 or MM#940136 consider retail?

Thank you.

Hello YB,

Thank you for the quick reply.

You can check if the label has the following markings. Please check the link below:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000007060/ethernet-products.html

And also, validate the card using YottaMark* and BradyID* Stickers. Please check the link below on how to validate the card.
